Since 1984 I have practiced law as a civil litigator in a variety of areas in State and Federal Courts and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. I am certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a civil trial attorney.
My experience with residential and commercial real estate transactions and working with small business owners in the sale and purchase of a business, closing SBA loans and resolving commercial disputes, allows me to provide a broad based view of a client's needs, and an assessment of and input into their family, business and litigation planning strategies. I have been successful in highly contentious matrimonial litigations, have prepared numerous Wills, Living Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney and provided representation to defendants in local Municipal Courts.
My clients range from indigent to wealthy, from small start-up corporations to a national child day care center for whom I am corporate counsel. Geographically I have represented clients residing in the Phillipines, India and throughout the continental United States.
I seek to assist individuals to realize their goals, including the fair resolution of claims through negotiation or in the various Court and Administrative systems at our disposal.

Civil litigation
Civil litigation is a term of art which distinguishes lawyer Court work from the non-criminal stream of actions in law. It encompasses not just the representations made in Court but also the pre-trial procedures including interlocutory hearings, and the post-trial procedures such as costs and enforcement of a judgment. Civil procedure is only one of many components of civil litigation.
I have tried many cases to a conclusion. The cases range from personal injury, medical and legal malpractice, and complex business litigation to basic breach of contract actions. I also specialize in breach of residential real estate contracts.

Estate planning and administration
I have drafted many Wills, Living Wills and Durable Powers of Attorney as a basic estate planning package. When a loved one dies I assist in providing legal guidance for settling an estate, and/or have acted as Administrator or Executor in the settlement of estates. I am also skilled in resolving estate claims in the event of the filing of a Will Contest action by a family member or a claim by an estate creditor.
I have successfully tried numerous cases to a conclusion during my career. I have also represented many businesses on both sales and purchases of real property, and have closed hundreds of residential real estate transactions.
